Your Impact

 

 

As Payroll Compliance Lead, you will lead a small team of payroll specialist and be responsible for ensuring that Asahi Beverages Payroll operation’s adhere with all relevant statutory, taxation, superannuation and related employment obligations.

 

 

You will support delivery of Payroll Compliance across the business, assisting with service levels, business KPI, enhanced business user experience, and helping to drive service improvement across payroll processes in partnership with stakeholders across Payroll Services, HR Support, HR Business Partnering, Rewards, Governance as well as various end users across the business.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Lead and manage the execution of payroll compliance and system activities including (but not limited to) time and attendance system administration and processes, payroll systems administration and processes, HR and payroll data quality and reporting, payroll accounting, audit, compliance and controls and contribute towards the delivery of the associated HR Services roadmap
  • Contribute to the Human Resource Services strategy and associated roadmap, aligned to overall Business Services strategy
  • Ensure adherence to the agreed strategy and roadmap across designated Payroll Compliance activities
  • Support delivery of operational SLAs, business KPIs and compliance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve overall user experience and minimise compliance risks

 

 

 

About You

 

 

  • Diploma or equivalent in Payroll, Accounting, Taxation or related Specialties or payroll compliance related experience highly preferred
  • Strong previous experience in payroll compliance
  • Previous leadership experience in payroll
  • Experience in continuous improvement framework e.g. Six Sigma, Lean highly desired
  • Strong risk management mindset
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry Awards and HR regulations
