Your Impact

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced to join our Abbotsford facility. In this role you will maximise value creation and overall business performance through, effective management of the site engineering projects, capital, and process improvements. Additionally, you will coordination of Central Engineering standards and initiatives with risk mitigation through technical delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and systematic releasing of process bottlenecks which limit overall plant capacity
  • Lead the identification and engineering of plant and equipment changes necessary to achieve enhanced product quality
  • Support the business strategic agenda through technology enhancement and new product implementation
  • Operational improvement through the evaluation and appropriate implementation via automation, process control, documentation, FMEA, preventive maintenance and current industry standards
  • Identification and engineering of plant and equipment changes necessary to achieve enhanced product quality

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in an Engineering / Maintenance environment
  • Experience in a leadership position
  • Experience in Reliability management
  • Some experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing desirable
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
