Join Asahi Beverages as an Electrical Maintenance Technician and become a cornerstone of our operations at our Huntingwood facility. Your primary responsibility will focus on ensuring the safety, reliability, and peak performance of our assets, ensuring that production requirements and KPIs are not only met but surpassed. As an integral member of our Maintenance Team, you'll be instrumental in swiftly addressing electrical issues and promoting a proactive maintenance culture, all aimed at reducing production costs through effective workload management.
Please note: Embrace our flexible scheduling options, providing an excellent work/life balance. Enjoy 12-hour shifts 3 days a week with availability preferred across front and back-end spanning days and nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the plant and all machinery/equipment is working to 100% to maximise throughput and efficiency.
- Take ownership of the Electrical Maintenance Program for your designated area, ensuring the efficiency of preventive maintenance initiatives.
- Leverage your specialised knowledge to continually enhance process capability within the plant, driving efficiencies and optimising performance.
- Execute scheduled electrical maintenance tasks, promptly address breakdowns, and actively participate in maintenance events to bolster equipment reliability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in advanced problem-solving, proactively tackling challenges to maintain seamless operations.
- Maintaining a detailed work history captured through our maintenance management system.
- Regularly inspect machines and ensuring we are upholding quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

- You are a trade qualified Electrician.
- You have ability to diagnose and fault find using PLC and SCADA software.
- You have an understanding of maintenance, engineering and production processes within an FMCG manufacturing environment (including HMI, and Lock Out & Tag Out processes).
- Demonstrate extensive experience in specialised electrical maintenance roles, showcasing your ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and optimising processes.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the capacity to coach and mentor operational team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities seamlessly.
- Embrace a proactive mindset and prioritise safety, ensuring that all electrical maintenance activities adhere to stringent safety protocols.
